Sometimes when my kids are bugging me, I eat their Easter/Halloween/Christmas candy in front of them, saying I'm not going to stop until they shape up. Rarely does their behavior improve, but I've satisfied my sweet tooth without being sneaky.
Yes! I love to sneak their candy too. But when they ask me what I'm eating, I just say something weird like "rocks" or "mossy bark" and they leave me alone. I'll try your tactic and see if it improves naughty behavior. I can only hope it will put the something close to the fear of the CleanUp Fairy into them. Boy has that one worked wonders!
